Tuna Maguro town, Misaki

I live in Kanagawa, south of Tokyo, so I would like to introduce you to sightseeing spots in Kanagawa. There are many tourist resources here. The sea, mountains, lakes, forests, hot springs, many museums, the birthplace of modern Japan, and many scenic spots looking at Mt. Fuji. Also I'd like to show the places which are not well known yet but charming places.

The first place is Misaki in Miura city, located at the tip of the Miura Peninsula in the southeast of  Kanagawa. Misaki is very famous for Tuna maguro fishery. There are many Tuna maguro serving restaurant along the port. When you walk around this area, it's very interesting. Many old houses and temple remain, which bring back old memories. And this area is also hilly area. there are a lot of slopes, going up and you can look down the port. When it's sunny day, the location is wonderful.

Next, we moved to a forest park. At this season almost tree leaves fell down, so the landscape was lacking. but when you come there in spring to autumn, it must be nice. At the end of the forest area, we met a beautiful vegetable field. That fascinating landscape, with the ocean background!

Pretty fish shaped safety fence.
